Jonalyn Fincher is a gifted rarity - a female apologist. Holding a Masters in Philosophy of Religion and Ethics from Talbot School of Theology as well as a double-Bachelors in English and History from the University of Virginia, she travels nationally, speaking to schools, churches, camps and conferences.
With a background in acting, teaching and counseling, Jonalyn disarms the listener with gentleness and storytelling, bridges the theoretical to the practical, and emotionally engages audiences of all ages on various apologetic themes. These include spiritual formation, the existence of the soul, ethical issues, loving God with the whole self, cultural apologetics, and hermeneutics. Her expressive teaching style makes her presentations both distinctively appealing and accessible.
Jonalyn's current writing project is an honest look at the woman's soul using apologetics, philosophy, history, and psychology.
Her first book, Ruby Slippers: How the Soul of a Woman Brings Her Home, will be released by Zondervan Spring 2007.
As co-founder of Soulation (www.soulation.org), Jonalyn and her husband, Dale, often travel and teach together as a husband/wife team. They make their home and garden in Southern California with their Welsh Corgis — Lady Lucia, Lady Victoria, and Lady Jane.
